Letters to Hannah Walter Trowbridge [manuscript], [1745?] and n.y. November 25 and n.d.

In two letters to her daughter Hannah Walter Towbridge, Sarah Mather Walter discusses news of family and friends including the death of an acquaintance "Walley" from the bloody flux and the disposition of the deceased's "black Katt," illness of "cousin Hannah," a gown belonging to the daughter, a run away horse, mourning wear, blood letting for an illness, scarcity of stays for sale, putting a baby out to nurse, etc. With the letters are handwritten transcripts of the letters with notes on the family, printed partial transcripts of the letters, and genealogical notes on the Mather family.
